Art Square™ is an independent, public art project organized by the Times Square Art Square Foundation (TSAS). It intends to transform Times Square from the world’s largest advertising space into the world’s largest, open-air art gallery. Art Square seeks to reveal an untapped potential within New York’s most visited landmark by restoring the creativity, innovation and moxie for which the City and its people are known.
Slated to debut in short form, Art Square will scale annually to involve more art and artists, becoming increasingly immersive as time goes on.
Art Square has thus far advanced as an ambitious civic undertaking with backing from visionary underwriters. If you wish to affirm your own support for a new era in Times Square, sign here.
